The Revere Securities LLC broker’s 26-year securities career is over
After 26 years in the securities industry, Noel Fleming has been permanently barred by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) from acting as a broker or otherwise associating with firms that sell securities to the public.
In December 2015, a customer dispute was recorded on Fleming’s FINRA BrokerCheck report that included allegations of unsuitable investments, violation of Michigan Securities Act, violation of FINRA conduct rules, breach of fiduciary duty/constructive fraud, negligence, negligent supervision and churning, which is excessive trading for the purpose of generating commissions.
In this case, the customer requested damages in the amount of $700,000. During its investigation of the complaint, FINRA authorities requested information from Fleming and he failed to respond. As a result, in July 2016, the regulatory agency permanently barred Fleming from the securities industry.
Also included in Fleming’s report are numerous judgments and liens against the broker throughout his career.
Prior to his employment with Revere Securities LLC from July 2010 to August 2016, Fleming was employed by:
- Jesup & Lamont Securities Corp in Boston, MA from September 2007 to July 2010
- Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. in Boston, MA from September 2002 to September 2007
- Prudential Securities Incorporated in New York, NY from June 1999 to September 2002
- Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. in New York, NY from February 1990 to May 1999
