Matthew DiGregorio Suspended After Multiple Client Complaints

Investment broker recently barred by FINRA after multiple complaints from clients

Investment broker Matthew DiGregorio was suspended by the Federal Industry Regulatory Authority in August of 2015. Mr. DiGregorio has had multiple complaints filed against him by prior clients for the following breaches of conduct:

• Taking excessive risk with client investments that was not in line with their goals and objectives

• Placing unauthorized trades in wrong accounts

• Performing excessive trading without client authorization (churning)

• Unauthorized trading without client permission

Mr. DiGregorio worked for the Aegis Capital Corporation of Melville, NY from June 2015 until August 2015. His employment history also includes J.D. Nicholas and Associates Inc. (NY) between January 2013 and July 2013, Legend Securities Inc. (NY) from June 2012 until January 2013, and Chelsea Financial Services (NY) between September 2010 and July 2012.  Prior to the suspension, he had worked in the investment business since 1994.

FINRA has suspended him from all broker activity citing that he failed to comply with an arbitration award or settlement agreement and/or failed to provide requested information to FINRA.
