A National Securities Arbitration & Investment Fraud Law Firm
Former LPL Financial broker Julius Kenney IV was permanently barred by FINRA for refusing to provide information requested by FINRA during the course of an investigation. This investigation was related to a complaint by an LPL customer regarding his investment in Kenney’s undisclosed outside business. Kenney was terminated by LPL for his participation in the undisclosed outside business activity that was a violation of firm policy. According to FINRA BrokerCheck records, Kenney operated as a LPL broker with Frank Kenney Wealth Management office in Calhoun, Georgia.
Kenney worked at LPL from March 2011 until July 2012 when he left to work at Dempsey Lord Smith. He returned to LPL in September 2013 until his termination in June 2015. LPL has been plagued in recent years by customer complaints that LPL financial advisors were selling unauthorized investments or otherwise engaged in improper outside business activities.
