LPL Broker Jason Charles Parker Permanently Barred by FINRA

Jason Charles Parker was permanently barred by FINRA from association with any FINRA member in any capacity for failing to respond to request by FINRA for information.

Although Parker had only worked at LPL Financial for a short time, he has several complaints that have either settled or are pending outcome. Most of these complaints involve the unsuitable recommendation of investment in a foreign stock in 2011.

One such case alleged damages of $399,000 and settled for $223,000. Another case pending arbitration alleges damages of $2,145,000 and includes allegations of forgery, misrepresentations, and selling-away, as well as unsuitability relating to investment in a foreign stock.

An incident report has been filed with the Jones County, Georgia Sheriff’s office for allegations of forgery in the amount of $235,000.

LPL fired Parker after only nine months in contravention of a letter of caution issued to him for entering purchase orders in accounts where such trading had been precluded.
